MAPRO d.o.o. was founded in 1992. It is a family business with 50 employees. Initially, it was only engaged in cutting and selling chrome piston rods / rods and honing pipes, but today our production and sales program includes hydraulic cylinders and components for hydraulic devices.
After expanding the business area, the company bought the premises of the former student dormitory at Strojarna and moved there from the home. The new space enabled the employment of more workers, the purchase and installation of new machines and the increase of stored material for chrome-plated piston rods / rods, pipes, seals and other components for the production of hydraulic cylinders.
In 2004, we bought land in the Industrial Zone in Žire and set up a production hall with an area of 800 square meters. The spatial expansion enabled the purchase of additional new machines and the employment of professionals. After the relocation, a new era began for the company with exceptional potential strength in all respects: from product design, manufacturing, assembly to warehousing. Excellent working conditions enable even better productivity and product quality.
In production we use 3 saws for cutting material, of which two CNC saws up to 300 mm in diameter, CNC machining center VF 3, CNC lathe SKT28 for larger workpieces (up to 80 kg), lathe up to 6 m turning length, milling and several drilling machines and a modern paint shop for own needs. With this machine park we can cover the production of even the most demanding hydraulic cylinders.
Because we are aware that logistics is extremely important in the company, we have arranged a storage cabinet for storage, which enables significant savings in time and space. We provide our customers in Slovenia with fast delivery of ordered products, as we have our own fleet, which allows us to respond quickly and adapt to the wishes of customers.
As a manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders, we always strive to ensure the highest level of quality of our products and uncompromisingly adhere to agreed delivery times. Our goal is to achieve the greatest possible trust and satisfaction of our customers.
